We had a lovely short break. It is lovely comfortable, cosy and warm. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back. Thank you.

Martha & Bob - Nottingham 22nd-25th May 2015
Beautiful Cottage, Nice and cosy but modern feel. Especially liked the bathroom! Great being in walking distance to Dent, to enjoy a sneaky glass of wine in the pub garden (we were lucky enough to get sunshine). Also had a fab day out in Ingelton. We drove both routes to Ingelton, (11 miles one way and 17 miles the other) and would recommend this as it is worth the extra miles for the beautiful scenery. Also the pottery and amazing cake shop in Ingelton worth visiting.

John and Shirley Ward & Sapphire (the Labrador) - Leicester 11th September 2015
Great week in a nice cottage with great weather! What could be better. Lovely area and very good base to see the Dales and lakes.

Now for the poetry!!
Tales from Dent by Davina from Clitheroe & Chris from New Zealand
Divine imagery & wailing banshees, babbling brooks, terrible raging torrents
Tasty eggs from neighbour’s chickens, friendly local’s with tales of bare buttocks!
Walking adventures with waterfalls, dancing flags & wishing trees
Lazy mornings chilling with the papers, ruby dawns & cocktail evenings
Logs of fire, fine home dining
Perfect cottage 5 stars shining
We laughed & cycled, strolled & ran
But still our poetry didn’t scan.
